Recently, I visited the holy land of Vrindavan, situated on the banks of
river
Yamuna situated in Uttar
Pradesh. The place is considered holy beacuse of its relation to Lord
Krishna. It is a land of temples but temples of Bankey Bihari & Radha
Parthsarthy are centres of attraction. The idols of these
temples are extra-ordinarily beautiful &
appear as if they are alive. They are portrait of exclusive craftsmanship.
Even temples' art & architecture is a masterpiece in itself. I saw many
foreigners weapped in Indian outfits with sandal smothered forheads. There,
I realized that our culture & its origin is great.ISKON Temples in Inida
depict the Lord Krishna in a beautiful manner. Their Temples can be found in
places like -
Mumbai
and
Haridwar.
A traveller should visit that destination in India because it shows our
culture, our religiion & moreover will give you a feeling that our
Indian culture is great. In the urban lands, people are getting more &
more westernised, they are forgetting their culture but after reaching
Vrindavan, one will realize that even westerners want to be oriental, to
feel the chastity of orientals. And apart from this,
Mathura, birth
place of Lord Krishna & the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the
world is quite near to this place. And a glimpse of the
Taj Mahal will make
you realize how beautiful is love.
