I heart a lot about Lotus Temple, in Kalkaji,
New Delhi. Since I am a
person who enjoys my company the most, I thought of going there. Awesome,
soul touching, peaceful are the few words that I would describe that place
as. Experiencing the Bahi Culture here in the midst of the Indian Culture is
a different experience.
In today's world, it often happens that you get so much screwed up in your
daily routine and you forget that you need some time to be with yourself….that
its being very long that I have not met my real me! For this, Lotus temple
is the perfect place. The more attractive thing is the difference of this
temple is of its uniquenesss from other Temples Of India.
What catches tour eyes the architectural marvel which this temple
denotes.As soon as you enter there, beautiful flowers welcome you. The
moment you enter inside the temple, you'll see everything so calm and quite.
One can sit there for hours in deep silence, which seems as soul
enlightening. Every temple is filled with hustle, bustle and crowd. But
here, no 'prashad', no god murtis, no long queues are there. Only you and
your self. This wont be liked by anyone and everyone. Only the ones who
actually want to experience silence, lotus temple is open for you. Also is
you are running out of cash, don't dishearten, since there is no ticket as
well!
But as you see the temple dont forget to see the other attractions of Delhi
like the
Red Fort,
Qutub Minar and
the
Jama Masjid.In the misdst
of all this i was thinking of having another experience of India - The
Indian Train and what better could I get than the Famous Indian Heritage
Train -
The Palace On
Wheels! Do not miss it out!
