Living almost in the Capital city, one often tends to ignore the beauty
that surrounds it stuck in the drudgery of routine it took me almost a years
planning to treat myself to a vaccation. But I must add now that the wait
was worth the while.
ARanikhait, a small valley engulfed in the mountain ranges of
Himalayas was truely a
dream come true destination and much needed escape from the madening crowds
of its nearby popular tourist destination
Nainital. Pure,
lush green trees and the fog that mistified the impegning absence of sun
created welcomed me with open arms in the lap of nature. And to believe,
what I had missed all these years stuck with the demands of life all these
years made cover.
Ranikhait is a small beautiful village and may be natures favourite child
for I havent witnessed a place as pure, screen and untouched by the expanse
of modern life as this. And for any nature lover, who desires to be lost in
the vast expance of nature, to be cuddled by green grasses and artistic
trees, for anyone who truely desires a vaccation from the concreates of life
that we build our nests on Ranikhait is a destination that sure will stir
your soul. It is not that other hill stations like
Kashmir,
Ooty
and
Mt. Abu
are not beautiful, but Ranikhet is away from the crowd.
For as Edward be Bonno popularity quoted memories are something that happen
but not completely unhappen, the beauty of this place left an unprint on my
mind that shall never completely unhappen for their certainly cannot be a
place as pure, a beauty as chase as the beauty of nature that is untouched
by man.
