I recently went to vaishno devi with my family.
Vaishno
Devi is a religious place that has grat sacred value amongst all
hindus it is in the state of jammu and
kashmir. One can
reach Jammu by bus, train, plane, train being the most comfortablemeans to
reach there.
From Jammu one needs to reach Katra. Again one can take a bus. Or a taxi to
reach there.Situated on a height from Katra is the Mata's Darbar. One can go
by horses, plakis or by foot. Most of the people who visit the holy place,
preter to go by root.
The place half way is known as'Ardhkuvari', there is a small temple that
one can go for worship. There are many hotels and Dharamshallas where one
can take rest and then continue wth the journey. There are many food points
on the way. Apart from the food points.Try out the famous
Rajma Chawal of this place. On
also finds some small shops where can buy some music or can do some other
holy shopping like buying religious books, vaishno matas pictures, pictures
of the valley and so on.
A traveller should vsit this destination as reaching the matas mandir is a
wonderful feeling. When one has darshan to the mata's mandir. One feels
relaxed, destressed also spiritual. A part from the spritual expereince, the
whole journey is a very pleasing expereince in itself. Kashmir stands out as
one of the famous hill stations of India just like
Munnar and
Ooty.
