It was pretty recent when I landed in Jaipur, though not being very far
from
Delhi and climate
also being very pleasant is an ideal gateway for a short duration & if
you are lacking in time to get the tickets booked or have not planned your
holiday.
Jaipur, is a land of
rich cultural heritage showcasing different cultures of people known as a
pink city, is famous for its City Palace,
Hawa Mahal, Anur &
Anebes Fort, as its tourist destinations. I had got a really very warm &
nice welcome at Country Inn Suites & Resorts, where I spent 3 days of my
stay. Though it was comfortable, but tiring at the same time as everyday
sightseeing was exhaustive. I happen to visit
City Palace which
is a home to the Maharani of Jaipur, its good when you look at that still
that princely rule exists. Though we are not allowed to enter but still
curiosity remains that wish I could first go & meet his once. Besides
that, City Palace showcases different & ancient artillery, costumes,
handicraft ,
tanks used for storing & the baggis or what we call as carts. Then
we went to Anur & Anebes palace which is famous for its huge structure &
the worlds largest cannon & the heaviest too is situated there.
