Vazhachal Falls are located in
Thrissur District of Kerala. Running on Chalakkudy River, these are just 3
kms from Athirappilly. Vazchachal Falls are the most beautiful falls in
India. With Huge trees and forest on one side of the falls, the beauty of
the Vazachal Falls increases ten fold.
Preached over Sholayar Forest range on the fringes of Keralas Forest these
provide a escape from the city lights. You can hear of the falling waters
from a distance as you reach the
Kerala Forest.
Statrting calmly from the high ranges, these catch speed as they gust
through the rocks of the Green Forest. And then with a thud, they fall down
thousands of feets down making a roaring sound. The beauty of the Vazhachal
Falls can be only felt when one reaches the Falls.
Near the Falls, there is the Forest called the Vazhachal Forest.

there is a small Garden with thousands of flowers adding to the beauty of
the falls. Its also a place for various film shootings which keep on going
here, especially in the rainy season. (There are two Water Theme Parks near
the falls).
