Just 2 kms from Kota of Rajasthan, Chambal Garden is located in the town called Chambal. Its the banks of Chambal river flowing past by, which makes the Chambal Gardens look more attractive. The Chambal Garden is located near the Amar Nivas Palace of Kota, Rajasthan.

At the time when the Chambal Garden was made there were a number of Garihals and Crocodiles inside a Pond in the Garden. Today even this number has reduced drastically. Chambal Garden is a beautifully landscaped garden.

The Garden

Its the sound of the flow of the Chamba River which will attract you to the Chambal Garden. Made with beautiful landscapes and filled with lush Greenery, it attracts people from all around. A pleasant walk in the evening or a small picnic - is all that makes you come here. Amar Villas Palace is very near to it, so its the best place to have a picturesque image of the Palace from here. If you are a Painter, then you won't find a better place than this.

For the kids its the best picnic spot. You can also go for a boat ride here. The slowly and casually flowing Chamba River calls for a ride on its waves. There is a little pond inside the Garden. This place acts like a magnet for the kids - for there are a number of Crocodiles and Garihals. These idle looking creatures are a attraction in themselves. Though the number of Crocodiles has reduced substantially, but they still are there.

»Kota Fort : This amazingly strong built Fort is a must see for all those who visit Kota. The elegant Hall Durbar and the Hall of the Mirrors is the major edge cutter here.

» Kishore Sagar – Jag Mandir : Anyone who has visited or is about to visit Kota, will tell you about Jag Mandir. Made in 1740, this Mandir is in the vicinity of Jag Palace. Built by one of the Queens of Kota it has the beautiful Kishore Sagar, Keshar Bagh and the Royal Cenopath as its attractions.

» Maharao Madho Singh Museum : Museums are a mirror of the past era. If you want to see the reign of Kota Kings and Queens, then this is the palce to go. Near this Museum, there is also the Government Museum. The Government museum is housed inside the Brijvilas Bhavan Palace near Kishore Sagar.

» Haveli Devtaji : Situated near Garh Palace, on the bank of River Chambal, this Haveli is famous for its frescoes and the miniature paintings on its walls. * Prior permission is required to enter this Haveli as its the private residence of the Old King.
