Besan Ke Ladoo
Ingredients :
2 cups gram flour/besan
1 and 1/2 cup finely grounded sugar
250 gms ghee
1 cup filled with small pieces of almonds, cashew nuts
To be ground :
If you have the solid pieces of sugar or sugar cubes, then you can ground
them at home in the grinder. There is no need to get it from the market.
Preparation Method
Take a deep frying pan and heat it. Pour the ghee into it, when it is
heated add the gram flour to it. Keep stirring it till the flour turns
golden brown. Keep stirring the flour constantly so that no lumps are
formed. When it turns golden brown put it down from the stove. In the
hot besan add the grounded sugar and mix it thoroughly. Garnish with
almonds and cashewnuts.
Once the preparation is made and is still hot, make small round balls
out of the mix, using hands. Remember the balls have to be made when the
mixture is still hot. Keep the balls/ladoos in a covered container after
being cooled at room temperature.
