Lamb Rogan Josh
Lamb Rogan Josh

Preparation Method

Take the lamb pieces and mix them with the youghurt. Keep this mix at one side. Now heat the cooking oil in a deep fry pan. When the oil is heated add all the ingredients - cardamom, cinnamon, red chillies and the garlic paste. When they start to splutter, add the sliced onions. As soon as the onions turn golden brown, add the turmeric and salt to it. Then pour the lamb pieces in the masala. As the meat changes its color and turns to brown, add the meat masala. Now stir the masala for 5 minutes (with 1 cup water added to it for gravy) till the aroma begins to come out.

Garnish with Coriander leaves and serve hot with Chapatis/Naan/Rice.
