»Sculptural Gallery : There are two main places from where
the collections has been made in this Gallery.
Udaipur and
Pilak are the main places from where the sculptures have come. Pilak a
part of the Assam state has given some exquisite sculptures to look out
for. Dating back to 9th and 13th century these are a mixture of Buddhist
and Hindu Culture.
»Photo Gallery : A collection of artists photos make part
of this gallery. Photographs of Bronze, stone work, terra-cotta with
Buddha, Lord Shiv - Parvari. Krishna as the main focus.
»Coins : A interesting collection of coins can be found
here. From the oldest coin of Tripura, that of King Ratna Manikya - AD
1465. There are coins of gold and silver and other commemorative coins.
The Queens (of Tripura) face is there along with the Kings. The
inscriptions on the coin are either in Sanskrit, Bengali and Assamese
Language. A nice place for those who collect coins.

»Ujjayanta Palace : Made in the Indo - Saracenic style it
houses a 28 hectares mansion, which is two storeyed. On the ground floor
there are two temples in Orchha Colours. The mansion has now been
converted into State Legislative Assembly, still its open for visitors.
» Kunjanben Palace : Just one kilometer from Ujjayanta
palace, its the official residence of Governer of Tripura. Its built on
a hillock and gives a beautiful view of the city. The Kunjanben Palace
comes second in beauty than the Ujjayanta Palace which is supposed to be
the most beautiful Palace of Tripura.
»Neer Mahal: The only lake palace of Eastern India, its the
most sought after tourist place. Today its one of the famous summer
resorts spreading in an area of 5.35 kms.
» Durga Puja : Just like Kolkata where Durga Puja is the
main festival, here also it is celebrated with the same enthusiasm and
dedication. Goddess Durga is prayed and praised in this festival. Its a
must see for the people who visit Tripura in the month of OCTOBER AND
NOVEMBER.
