» Pottery: Jaipur is the home of glazed blue-pottery. Vases, flower pots, bowls, water pots and other objects are produced in traditional geometrical and floral motifs, as well as hand-painted details of Rajasthani legends.

» Textiles: If you wish to get the splash of colors in your wardrobe then Rajasthan is the right place to be. Traditional art of tie-and-dye textiles; Laheriyas or the delicately created patterns in waves, the pachranga or five colored bhandej (tie -and-dye) on sarees, odhnis; or mantles and safas or turbans; sarees from Kota; hand block printing; geometric ajraks; historic jajam prints; feather-soft and feather-light Jaipuri razai (quilt) are the famous textiles that are a must buy.

The important centers for shopping are Barmer, Bhilwara, Alwar, Jaipur, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Tonk and other places.
