If you wish to take a journey back into time then The Fairy Queen is the ideal choice. Built in the year 1855, this ancient locomotive comes out from the treasure chest of the Indian Railways. This locomotive is certified by Gunniess Book of Records as the world's oldest working engine. It also has the honour of being the first exhibit of national rail museum in 1996. Highlights

Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary : Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary lies in the Aravalli Hills of Alwar District in Rajasthan. The forest here are dry and deciduous. Within the wildlife sanctuary there are ruins of medieval ages temples of Garh - Rajor, belonging to the 10th and 11th Century. There is also a 17th century castle on the top of Kanwari Hilltop. See the Egyptian Culture in this Castle. It has also the Ancient Shiva Temple. Besides these ancient reminances the Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary has some of the exquisite wildlife. Look for animals like Peafowl, Grey Partridge, Bush Quail, Sand Grouse, Tree Pie, Golden backed Wood Pecker, Crested Serpent Eagle and the Great Indian Horned Owl.

Suggestions

Children between 5 and 12 years of age are not allowed as they are permitted inside the wildlife sanctuary. Children of 14 and above 14 yrs are permitted to travel on board. However if you bring along little children then you will have to skip the Jungle Safari behind. 10 % surcharge plus 3 % service tax which can change as Govt. of India rules.
In case of no show, no refund shall be done. In case of en route termination for any reason, there shall be no refund under any circumstance. The amount for the unused portion of the tour will be treated as forfeited. Any kind of amendment is possible only in case of Natural Disaster or serious ailment certified by a practising Doctor.
The ticket once bought cannot be cancelled. The train ticket can be brought from Delhi Cantonment Railway Station.
The train begins from Delhi Cantonment Railway Station and ends at Delhi Cantonment Railway Station. You are required to be at the Railway Station at least an hour before the departure of Fairy Queen.
The weather condition of Alwar/ Rajasthan is pleasant at the time Fairy Queen runs. So there is no need to bring extra clothes or warm clothes.
